My friend, welcome to Beyond Freedom Church (BFC). I am Prophet Teresa Lusk, the founder and Lead Pastor of BFC. Allow me to share the purpose of our existence. BFC was formed with an apostolic and prophetic destination, to train and send out believers to bring the kingdom of God onto the earth in freedom, power, and glory. My signature Scripture is Mark 16:17-18 where Jesus stated: “17 These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” I firmly believe in the call and commissioning of every Christian here on the earth.
You can be certain that I love the Word of God, and unless the Lord directs otherwise, it will be unapologetically preached! We are a charismatic bunch, not afraid to be expressive in our worship and responses, but we are also mindful of the Holy Spirit’s direction when He wants to lead us in a gentler manner. We believe in the prophetic, physical and emotional healing, generation breakthroughs, freedom and deliverance ministry, tongues, and any other miracles, signs, and wonders that the Heavenly Father may want to express in our midst. We are here to provide the full-gospel experience that includes the Word of God, and the tangible expression of Jesus' love and presence. We don’t play church or miss an opportunity to encounter the Holy Spirit and His power.
Allow me to introduce myself. First and foremost, I love the LORD, but this has not always been my story. I became a mom at 14 years of age, quit school in the 8th grade, gave myself over to partying and dark religious practices, and more. In 2003, through a series of circumstances, I gave my whole heart and life to the Lord. I fastened myself to Him, and couldn’t imagine it any other way. Not long after my conversion, I felt the call of the Lord on my life. I started as a Christian trainer and speaker, but was not satisfied as I knew there was so much more to preach from the Bible and so much more to experience in the power of Jesus.
In time, the call on my life evolved. Men and women began to put a demand on my gifting, asking me to minister to them, and I began to spread my ministry wings, preaching at churches and hosting my own events. After years of spending time in the place of surrender to the soul healing of the Lord, dealing with my character, strengthening my faith, and asking the Lord to use me for His mighty purposes, I began to see a more intense, supernatural flow when I ministered. I began to flow in much deliverance, healings, baptisms of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues, the prophetic, generational breakthroughs, glory, and so much more. I knew I couldn’t keep all of this to myself, so I wrote a training (Beyond Freedom School of Ministry) that would condense the many years of lessons I acquired in the secret place combined with experience. I have made it my life’s purpose to unapologetically equip Christians to live their life as kingdom people.
Clearly, I believe in the unhindered and unrestricted ministry of women, and wrote my book, Girl, PREACH: A Woman’s Call to Kingdom Purpose. In this book, I biblically address the misinterpreted, controversial Scriptures used to restrict women from becoming pastors and preachers. I wrote a few other books as well and consider it a privilege to spread the good news that sets people free.
While it took approximately fifteen years with some breaks in between to complete the three degrees I attained, I finished with a Masters in Professional Counseling. Today, through my company, ExecYou Coach, I offer pastoral counseling and coaching. My passions don’t stop there, I have ExecYou Productions, where myself, and my assistant producer produce my own TV show, a more mainstream program with a faith-based perspective. Through this show, I have the honor of hosting and interviewing individuals who are fighting for the best and biblical positions in America.
I have three beautiful grown children (two sons and a daughter) and a grandbaby girl. They are the joy of my life, and I love to witness their walk with the Lord. Each one of them is gifted differently, and powerfully for the kingdom of God. For fun I have discovered I have a love for football, I love taking walks, reading, spending time with friends, eating a good steak, traveling, and of course, ministry! Enough about me!
I look forward to meeting you in person!
Love,
Prophet Teresa Lusk
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only way to enter into eternal life through the death and the power of His resurrection. John 14:6
Believe the Bible to be God’s absolute truth, and the revelation of His will to individuals and accept it as our guide for faith and conduct. John 17:17, Matthew 4:4
Believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues, prophecy, preaching with boldness, and the manifestation of other spiritual gifts as listed in 1 Corinthians 12, Acts 19
Believe God has called and anointed women and men equally to emphasize the fullness of the Gospel. This includes the five-fold ministry (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers) in which men and women can equally fulfill the call God has given each of them. A woman can be a lead Pastor or leader. Ephesians 4:11-16, Luke 2:36-38, Romans 16:6, Acts 18:24-26
Believe in healing both emotional and physical as a part of God’s goodness and salvation. We reject that sickness is from God or to teach us a lesson. We believe the only thing required for God’s healing is faith on anyone’s part. And at times, God heals just because He is sovereign. . Matthew 8:16-17
Believe in deliverance from demonization and oppression for both the saved and the unsaved with the goal of leading the unsaved to Jesus Christ. Romans 7, Luke 13:10-16
Believe that witchcraft and the occult is a sin as stated in Deuteronomy 18 and is currently being saturated and accepted in the church. Examples of this include horoscopes, yoga, cleansings, Santeria, tarot, meditation as taught through an Eastern world approach, and other similar practices that are not limited to Deuteronomy 18.
Believe marriage (between one man and one woman) is based on a oneness theology, servanthood, and submission to one another as they are one, respecting and honoring one another. Sex before marriage, live-in relationships, same-sex marriages, and alternate identities are not in line with our faith doctrine and are completely in opposition to our core beliefs. We believe in loving people to freedom. If there is no freedom from their sin and bondage, then it's not really an expression of love. Biblical love always includes the freedom of Jesus Christ. Genesis 2:24, Gen 1:27
Believe in empowering and restoring the believer to live a life free of sin through the Word of God, accountability, and a church family. 1 John 1:9, 1 John 2:1
Believe the believer has been set free from generational curses and is blessed, but can be in bondage to generational demonic activity and the Christian has a right and obligation to be set free. Galatians 3, Ezekiel 18
Believe in giving and ten percent is the guideline. Every Christian should mirror the heart of the Heavenly Father and should be willing to give generously as the Bible states. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7,
Believe and will stand by the most conservative interpretation of Scripture and any other Biblical principles regarding sin, culture, decisions for life, and circumstances.
If you have never partnered with BFC, would you consider doing so? We believe in God-assigned partnerships and look forward to linking arms with those who know the Lord has assigned them to us for this season. May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
